Poster Symposium Awardee - Lawrence Livermore National Lab (2015)

During my 2015 internship at the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), I was honored with a Special Recognition Award at the annual Student Poster Symposium for my project titled “Numerical Upscaling of Maxwell’s Equations.” This symposium, the largest to date with over 250 participants, showcased the collaborative research efforts between students and LLNL mentors across various scientific and technical disciplines. Only 11% of the presenters got an award.
The recognition highlighted the significance of my work in computational electromagnetics and underscored LLNL’s commitment to fostering emerging talent in STEM fields. I am grateful for the mentorship and support received during this experience, which has been instrumental in my professional development.
