I proposed this partnership to offer top CIMAT undergraduate students with summer research internships opportunities in Canada. With support from CIMAT’s director, we established the partnership, marking the first time Mexican institutions participated in the Mitacs Globalink program. This initiative began as a pilot and continues today, welcoming Mexican students across diverse fields, fostering valuable international collaborations.
